About Us

Flash-Aid was started by parents and coaches who could not unsee what they were looking at. After every game, the field was littered with balled-up athletic tape, single-use plastic, and trash from the very supplies meant to keep athletes healthy.

We kept coming back to the same sentence: there has to be a better way. Flash-Aid is what we built.

Who We Are

We are parents, coaches, and lifelong athletes. We have taped ankles on the sideline, stocked the team bag, and hauled the first aid kit to more games, meets, and matches than we can count. The products we relied on every week had not changed in decades, and neither had the trash they left behind. Reading Paul Hawken’s The Ecology of Commerce sharpened that frustration into a mission.

What We’re Building

Our mission is to revolutionize sports and athletics with eco-friendly products that keep athletes in the game while caring for the planet. We make biodegradable, plant-source versions of the athletic training supplies athletes already use every day, starting with Flash-Bam®, America’s 1st Biodegradable Athletic Tape, and Flash-Wrap™, America’s 1st Biodegradable Cohesive Wrap. The eco-friendly difference is the reason to switch. The performance is the reason you can.

We serve every level of sport: athletic trainers and sports medicine staff, college and high school programs, adult and recreational athletes, coaches and teams, chiropractors and recovery professionals, and the parents who stock the sideline bag. This is a green sports movement, and we are looking for others to join it.
